Ambassadors

Area of Service
The Ambassadors are a group of Chamber members who represent and support the economic growth and development of Marietta and Washington County. They welcome new businesses or agencies to the community and deliver an information packet and plaque from the Chamber of Commerce. They promote a healthy business climate in the Marietta area and serve as resources for those that bring economic growth to the area. In addition, Ambassadors are effective liaisons between the Chamber and the business community.

Meetings are held the third Monday of each month. These meetings begin at 11:30 am and are followed by visits to local businesses.  Quarterly Meetings are also held the third Monday of the the following months: March, June, September, and December. For those particular months Out of Town Visits are scheduled normally the week after the quarterly meeting and leaving from the Chamber at 8:30 a.m.  Ambassadors are requested to wear a navy blue blazer or a navy blue polo shirt and their name plate, which should be worn at all meetings and functions when members are representing the Chamber as an Ambassador.
