ince 1972, the Washington County Career Center has
been a premier workforce development educational
facility.
The Washington County Career Center includes junior
and seniors in high school from the six Washington County
districts of Belpre, Fort Frye, Frontier, Marietta, Warren, and
Wolf Creek and of adult technical training students from
the Mid-ohio Valley.
The high school offers 15 different technical programs
including: auto collision, auto mechanics, carpentry,
computer graphics, cosmetology, diesel truck mechanics,
electricity, forestry/natural resources and heavy equipment
operation, industrial mechanics, landscaping/greenhouse
and floral design, masonry, medical college prep, patient
health care, office management, and welding.
The Career Center high school allows students to become
skilled in their technical field, gain immediate employment
upon high school graduation, and/or further their studies in
college, apprenticeship, or trade school.
The Career Center -Adult Technical Training designs,
develops and implements training which meets the needs of

local businesses, industry and individuals. The center
is dedicated to providing progressive solutions that
lead to increased productivity, enhances employment
opportunities and quality of life to individuals in the
Mid-ohio Valley.
