Business of the Year Award
The Marietta Area Chamber of Commerce offers several awards each year to recognize individual people and businesses who have made a difference in our business community.
Starting in 2025, MACC added a Business of the Year award and is currently accepting nominations for 2026. Nominations should be made with the form found here and will be qualified by the Chamber’s award committee. The top nominees will be notified and invited to be recognized at the Annual Dinner on Monday, March 9th, 2026. Two awards are given, one for a business with less than 50 employees and one for a business with 50 or more employees. When nominating, please consider the preferred qualifications listed below:
Business Growth and Stability
The business displays either growth or impressive stability in our community. They may have created new jobs or demonstrated a commitment to continue providing stable employment for local employees.
Community Involvement
The business actively participates in the local community through a variety of means. They are known to support local causes, non-profits, or volunteer efforts. They may have demonstrated leadership through developing a community initiative.
Innovation and Creativity
The business may have implemented a new practice, product, or service in the last year. They are considered a pioneer in their field and use innovative methods to promote their business and the community at large.
Workplace Culture
The business is known for a great workplace environment. They have a strong workplace culture and are committed to staff well-being.
Nominations are due by January 23rd, 2026.
